Vacancy! Tip-enhanced spectroscopy characterization of 2D materials – Postdoctoral researcher

The successful candidate will join Dr. Otakar Frank, the Head of the Department of Electrochemical Materials, on a project focused on the nanoscale characterization of 2D materials with controlled structural disorder. You will be responsible for tip-enhanced Raman and photoluminescence spectroscopy studies and advanced scanning probe microscopy characterization, including electrical and mechanical modes, mostly on mechanically exfoliated 2D materials with engineered defects. You will work within a framework of a collaborative project with Free University Berlin and Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf. You will also be co-responsible for the instrument, collaborate with other members of the Nanocarbon Group from the teams of Dr. Matěj Velický and Dr. Martin Kalbáč, and supervise younger colleagues.
